Yellow And Blue Wedding Inspiration Shoot

Vincent Van Gogh’s palette of glowing ochres and vibrant blues inspired this yellow and blue wedding styled shoot…

Elizabeth Solaru, of Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, and myself visited a wonderful Van Gogh exhibition in March at Tate Britain….we’d been discussing doing a shoot inspired by his work for a couple of months, and the gallery visit really helped to clarify the direction we wanted to go in. Elizabeth found a beautiful venue at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace (home of the British Academy), and pulled together a super team of suppliers. She worked with Leanne of florists Wild About to realise a stunning tablescape and overall look, whilst I created 3 Vincent inspired fashion looks and coordinated the wardrobe styling.

We were fortunate to have one of my favourite photographers, Roberta Facchini, on board to capture the look….
